A Membership Survey
The Friends of the Canadian War Museum are conducting a membership survey
in order to collect the following types of information: demographic information,
attitudes about Friends' activities, and recommendations to guide our future activities.
If you are a member of the Friends and if you have not already replied to a previous
version of the questionnaire, we invite you to download and complete a paper
copy of the questionnaire. We look forward to your inputs.

Date of 2010 Annual General Meeting Decided
The 2010 Annual General Meeting will be held on 10 June 2010, 1900 for 1930 hrs., in Ateliers C and D of the Canadian War Museum. Further details will be announced as they become available.
New Board Rules have been drafted and all members are asked to review these. They will be voted on at the AGM in June.

Volunteeres Needed!
CANADA'S NAVY CELEBRATES 100 YEARS and WE NEED YOU!
On May 4, 1910 the Canadian Navy came into existence! Many celebrations are planned around the country
and the Friends are also planning on commemorating this important in conjunction with the Museum.
Our first activity to be "launched down the slipway" is the production of a series of Navy supplements
for The Torch with supporting information on the Friends' web site. But there will undoubtedly be other
ways in which we can participate to assist the Museum in its celebration of this event.
However, in order to make this a success, we need a team of Friends, especially "former naval persons",
with ideas and enthusiasm to be willing "hands on deck". Writers, researchers, event organizers, photographers, volunteer interpreters are just a few of the skills we will need but above all we need your ideas on ways to celebrate.

We request that all copies be in a 'fair condition' (no pocket books).
Due to financial restrictions, funding for postages is not available.
However, a pick up can be arranged within a two hour drive from Ottawa.
