Book Room

The Book Room will be open to the Public during regular Canadian War Museum hours.

The Book Room is an important fundraising activity for the Friends and its staff is made up of a team of volunteers whose knowledge of the collection is surpassed only by their motivation

Book Room

The Book Room is located adjacent to the Canadian War Museum Research Library and offers a wide selection of Historical Military books, biographies and more.

Standard CWM Covid protocol must be followed – for more information visit the CWM website.
Proof of vaccination for all visitors ages 12 and up is required to access all exhibitions and public areas of the Museum, including special events.
Proof accepted: vaccination passport or proof of vaccination (digital or printed), as well as ID with name and date of birth.

For those who have book donations, we ask that you contact the FCWM Office at ([email protected]) with particulars.  Larger donations (over 100 books) need to have arrangements made with Book Room management.

If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or are not feeling well, please postpone your visit until you are feeling better. Masks are required while in Book Room and visitors will be restricted to one person (or one family unit) at a time in the book stacks.
