PW2-13 Signals Training in Korea: Good results are only achieved through good training.
As 1 R 22e R's tour was coming to an end and the Regiment's Third Battalion was arriving, Lt. Withers stayed on and was posted to be the Signal Officer and Officer Commanding the Infantry Signaler Training Wing at the 1st Commonwealth Division Battle School, which was located on the site of the old Imperial Japanese Cavalry Training Range.
He was responsible for all the safety and administrative communications plus the training of candidates from Australian, British and Canadian battalions fighting in the war. This is a graduating class in April, 1953.
